 Our Cottage waterfront vacation rental home, located in Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island Maine, sits along the shore of Frenchman's Bay offers a combination of the old and the new. This traditional Maine cottage offers two bedrooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, living and dining area and a wonderful enclosed porch. It has a charming gas wood stove surrounded by native stone finishes. The original cottage has been visited yearly by repeat guests, both from the states and Europe. The new five hundred square foot family area with fabulous views of Frenchman's Bay have made this vacation home the best of both worlds.
The oceanfront vacation rental home has complete access to Frenchman's Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
We furnished this house to easily accommodate four with an option of accommodating six through the use of futon beds in the living areas. While the rustic charm is evident, the standard amenities that we desire when we vacation including: fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, television and VCR/DVD. Television service is provided by DIRECTV satellite.

The cottage includes two bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a queen bed.
The other bedroom is furnished with twin beds.
 
We have added a furnished walk-out basement to our cottage. The new
addition includes a full bath, laundry room and family area.
 
 
The porch is the perfect place to enjoy an early morning coffee watching wildlife
or to sit and watch a spectacular sunset over the bay in the evening.
